Girls Track medals in 2024 State Track Meet

Congratulations to the following Lady Trojans who medaled in the 2024 State Track Meet. The boys and girls track teams combined for 6 state medals, the most in one year since 2006.

• 4 x 4 of Addison Duncan, Lena Stickel, Mary Kate Felts, Reese McKinney – 5^th in state
• 4 x 1 of Adeline Miller, Reese McKinney, Addison Duncan, Mary Kate Felts – 6^th in state
• Julia Score – 3200 meters – 8^th in state
• Reese McKinney – 100 hurdles – 8^th in state

The girls also had outstanding performances from Ceci Jackson, Maggie Rushenberg, Grace Leppert and Maisie Chesebrough.

The Lady Trojans qualified in 8 events for the 2024 Track State Meet, the most in school history!

• 4 x 100 relay – Adeline Miller, Reese McKinney, Addison Duncan, Mary Kate Felts 
• 4 x 400 relay – Addison Duncan, Mary Kate Felts, Lena Stickel, Reese McKinney 
• 4 x 800 relay – Maggie Rushenberg, Ceci Jackson, Maisie Chesebrough, Grace Leppert

The 2024 BCHS Lady Trojan Track Team placed 2nd in a very competitive sectional.  The following athletes or relays were sectional champions:

• 4 x 4 – Mary Kate Felts, Lena Stickel, Reese McKinney, and Addison Duncan

• 4 x 8 relay of Maggie Rushenberg, Morgan Engelman, Ceci Jackson and Grace Leppert

Also, Adeline Miller broke the school record in the 100 meters running a blazing 12.31.
